Rainy Day Fun!

It's been raining all day and Ellie has been dying to go outside so we put on rain boots and headed out to jump in the puddles!

We spent Spring Break in Orlando visiting Disney World and Sea World. As always, we had a fantastic time!

Happy Easter!

Easter Sunday was crazy for us this year! We started the morning off hunting for Ellie's Easter basket, then headed to church. After church, we grabbed some lunch, then finished packing for Disney World! We spent most of the evening on airplanes and in airports flying to Orlando and ended the night settled in our hotel room at Disney! It made for a long, exhausting day, but we had a great time!

Baby Update!

With about 6 weeks until Baby Liam's arrival, I thought it was time for an update! Things are going well and Ellie is very excited to be a big sister! She loves talking to Liam, playing with him (by poking my belly), and giving him kisses. She's also gotten very good at tattling on him for doing various things (stealing her stickers, kicking her, etc...)! Here are a few pics from the past few months and of the nursery so far! St. Petersburg

In the beginning of March, Steven had the opportunity to go to St. Petersburg, Florida for a work conference. I was able to tag along for the weekend while Ellie stayed with Grammy and Grandpa! We had a great time and had a chance to catch up with Rebecca (one of my roommates from JMU) and her hubby, Cori! We didn't get many pictures, but here are a few from our weekend getaway!

While exploring the city, I found a fantastic cupcake bakery and had to do some sampling! The cupcake on the left was a smore's cupcake and the one on the right was carrot cake. They were fantastic!

Snow!

It finally snowed enough to play in! Ellie was so excited! She's been waiting for snow since Christmas so I was very relieved that we finally got some.

It started snowing on Sunday night so after much begging, we let Ellie put on her coat and gloves to play on the back deck for a few minutes before bed.



She made a snowball.

Ellie managed to convince Daddy to help her build a snowman! He was a very good sport and helped in his shorts and t-shirt.


Monday morning Ellie woke up extremely early (before 7am) asking to go back out to play in the snow. After breakfast we headed back out again for a few hours.

It's a.....

Boy! We had our 20 week ultrasound done today and found out that we will be having a little boy in June! Everything looks wonderful and Baby Liam is right on track! We can't wait to meet him!
